Terms and Conditions for our events
The terms and conditions for our events are quite straightforward:
The events are generally open to everyone, subject to the right of refusal.
The events organised by the Initiative Tänzerdorf e.V. association are open to the public, but you must at least become a guest member – that is, accept passive membership of the association – in order to participate. This is purely for insurance reasons, and this membership expires automatically at the end of the association’s financial year, i.e. 30 June.
Right of refusal
However, the association’s board reserves the right to refuse access to events and the event venue to individuals who behave inappropriately, act contrary to the fundamental values of our community, or endanger the event, other people, or the cohesion of the group. This may occur during the event or upon attempting to register, and may be enforced by the association’s board without any further explanation.
In our Sommerecke project, the Sommerecke management team also has these rights.
In our Vale Bacias project, the Vale Bacias management team also has these rights.
Binding registration and cancellation policy
Your registration becomes binding upon payment of a deposit of €100 with the reference ‘[Jam Name]-Jam [First Name]’ to:

In the case of cancellation up to 10 days before the start of the event, we will retain €50; for cancellations made at short notice after this date, we will retain €100.
Consent to appear in photos and their publication
By registering, all participants give their consent to appear in group photos that capture and illustrate the usual goings-on at Jams. This means that the association will not publish any photos that are of a portrait nature or depict any private or misleading situations, but may show the usual activities whilst dancing or within the group, even if individual participants can be identified.
Such photos may be published by the association on its website, in a Telegram group, on Instagram or other social media platforms, as well as on printed flyers. Participants have the right to request that individual photos not be used, and the association will always comply with such requests; however, no claims for compensation or damages may be made.
Limited liability at and related to events
The event begins upon arrival at the venue. We will help you coordinate your journey, such as organising carpooling, and are happy to collect you from the station. However, this journey is in no way part of the event.
We do not offer any therapeutic services as part of our events. Contact Improvisation and other physical and nature-based experiences can be emotionally and psychologically unsettling, and we support one another within the group during this experience. However, each participant is responsible for their own mental well-being. In particular, if there are risk factors such as the use of psychoactive medication or a history of mental health issues, it is in the participant’s own best interests to inform the organisers of this before the event begins. The association reserves the right to refuse the participant entry if there is a risk involved.
