Feedback to our Jams

“I am still deeply touched and fulfilled by the Dancers-Village-Jam. Over the past few days, I’ve felt such a sense of security and appreciation! It was a space of closeness, touch, intimacy and simply being that we created together, and in which I was able to expand. I feel richly blessed.”
“I would like to thank you again for the intense, nourishing and fulfilling time up there on the mountain. It was simply wonderful. I will surely come back.”
“I experienced that you perform a real peace project here. I am so touched and grateful”
“For me, it was like coming home. Here, I was able to show myself as I am: with my intensity, my love, in freedom, feeling valued and supported.”
“I was very pleased with the various activities on offer. The inspiring teachers, the singing circles, triads, spontaneous contributions, meditations and so on. I also loved the chance to create things together spontaneously. I found that both the painting workshop and the children’s programme fitted in very organically and beautifully. I think it’s great that the association also offers a platform to teachers who are working towards societal change. For me, all of this was ‘participatory culture’ in action! Thank you for that!”
“At the jam, I had unplanned encounters without any aim: conversations and physical contact driven solely by an interest in another person, a curiosity about the wonder of their existence. And this was evident in both speech and touch: the utmost mindfulness, very little judgement, lots of discovery, lots of enjoyment. Everything I’ve learnt about CI was reflected in our interactions and in our language. I experienced so much appreciation through listening and sharing my existence. It does me good to be able to feel the warmth, the resistance and the surface of other bodies. I enjoyed being naked (in the sauna). I practised sensing: how exactly do I feel, what do I need right now.”
“The weekend was a real boost to my self-esteem and contentment. I felt healed and stronger afterwards. Over the last four weeks, I’ve been able to carry the approaches I practised into encounters and groups dealing with goals, opinions and judgements. I’m succeeding more and more often: I remain interested in people and their nature. I touch their shoulders when I feel like it. I touch their hearts when I speak of my feelings of something that has moved me. And when I’m anxious or confused, I say to myself inwardly: ‘I see, (I hear) I feel... in my story.’”
Nature Journey's and CI-Residencies
Feedback on the Nature Journey 2023, Portugal:
Katha: “I’m taking this simple way of life with me – always following my creativity. It’s a path of self-love that strengthens me and helps me stay true to my power. The slow pace of dancing in nature has made me braver.”
Manou: “For me, it was being there for each other that made this Nature Journey special; I felt so much heart in the group, in our mutual commitment to one another. And the particularly joyful moments were all those many moments of the group’s creativity blossoming.”
Paul: “For me, the dancers’ village was the connecting thread; the visionary presence on this land touched me deeply. Overall, I want to focus more on this in my life: dance + nature + community.”
Jonas: “I’m curious to learn more, on the path towards a life in a dancers’ village; a month, a winter, and beyond. I’m particularly grateful for the years – indeed, decades – of groundwork laid for this field. I want to go through life in a more dance-like way, and I’m excited to see how the integration of the individual and the dancers’ village will unfold.”
André: “I am touched and delighted that we have managed to create a vibrant community through our living practice in which the individual can fully unfold, and that we have together found a way of moving and resolving all the potential for conflict that inevitably arises in such a situation.”
Lika: "I was delighted to find that it was possible to stay true to my inner impulses within the group. Thanks to the strong ‘I’s’ – the strong personalities – we were able to forge a strong sense of ‘we’. It gives me a sense of peace to know that ‘yes, it is possible’ to co-create together, whilst bringing out the beauty and strength in each and every individual."
