Art at the Jams
Art is an integral part of our Tänzerdorf Jams; we almost always have a painting and writing wall right next to the dance floor, where you can express yourself artistically through images and words. Many works are created through free, collaborative creation, with everyone contributing a small piece to a larger work – true co-creation.

Founding Conclusion
This image was created in the summer of 2020 towards the end of the founding meeting, and depicts what the 15 founders considered essential, what this founding meant, what the future would bring for the association, and what they hoped for.
Or, indeed, what they valued as essential, including the contribution of our 12-year-old guest.
Garden of Eden
This is an excerpt from a larger painting created during an early jam (autumn 2020 or spring 2021) through the contributions of various dancers.

Sommer-Jam 2022
At the Summer Jam 2022, Lika ran the painting workshop for several days. Many works were created, by both children and adults.
This one was painted by Franz Witthöft.
Grandmother Tree
This is an excerpt from a larger image created during an early jam (Winter '21) through the contributions of various dancers. Writing and painting have become intertwined. The image depicts the Grandmother Tree in the Alentejo, on which we have danced several times – a very impressive cork oak that is approximately 600–800 years old. The words ‘Feeling’ and ‘My Trust’ aptly reach into the tree. They are part of a complete text that reads:
Love – Dance – Play – Free – Feeling
Connection to happiness
With you :)
I feel it in my body – My Trust
